A first draft tutorial on how to get your tunes on your Krave.

-First of all, this applies to those who will be storing their music on a memory card, not on the phones' internal memory; I'll make a guide for that later.

-The most efficient method (one I use) applies to those who have MP3, WMA, unprotected AAC, and unprotected AAC+ formats of music.

-I assume you know where your audio files are (like the ones you downloaded  [legally of course] or ripped).

Step one: Getting your computer to recognize your card as Removable Storage

If you don't know how to get removable disk to appear, get a micro to SD adapter, then an SD card reader, or a microSD card reader.  Set it up with the instructions it came with and you should be good to go.

Step 2: Create a folder in your memory card (Removable Disk (X:)) called "my_music", without the quotes.  That's an underscore between my and music.

It should look like this:

Step 3: Copy and paste your music files into the my_music folder. :



Notes:
-Your music MUST be in the folder my_music. 
ie:
not: my_music>Linkin Park>Hybrid Theory>Papercut.mp3

but rather: my_music>Papercut.mp3

Another way to get your micro SD card set up is to use the phone to format the card.  Insert the SD card, then select Settings, Memory, Card Memory, Format Card.  It will automatically build a set of directories for the various types of files that can be loaded.  I think that this has also been posted on another part of the site.
