Are you sure that is the latest software? I just tried to update my software and it said I am up-to-date with BLAZE_01.19.0AP even though yours sounds like the latest, I'm confused and irritated with this phone.

It's not an over-the-air update:  Have to go to Motorola's website or take it to a Verizon store that has a tech.

I just did the update through Motorola website. Man, I almost lost it, right at the middle of the update the phone disconnected from computer and turned off. When you would turn it on it would shut off in a second. I was about to take it in to Verizon this morning, but I found a way to turn on the phone and that way it can reconnect with the pc.
You have to press the both buttons on the right side of the phone and then press the power button. the screen will turn on blue and thats when you can put  back on the pc to finish the update. I hope this helps you.

What I've noticed with the this update is you now have speed dial. the dial pad looks a little different and when on a call, you now have to drag the key to unlock the phone while on a call.

...or you can turn the lock feature off by going into menu>settings>phone>phone settings>auto lock>off

Hoping someone can help me out.

I've downloaded the software, and my phone connects to my computer fine, the software recognizes my phone. When I go to update it, the software tells me

Your device does not have sufficient battery power. You must fully charge your device battery before beginning the update

So I put the phone on the charger and gave it a full charge. After fully charging it, the software is still telling me the same thing.

Anyone else having this issue?

correct- over the air updates are small. you have to use a PC to do large updates, so to get the better 1.28.02P you have to either go to a verizon store or do it yourself with a USB cable from mot's web site
