I've done a tour of Verizon semi-smart flip phones over the past few years (Pn-820, Alias, and now Krave).  I've had the Krave for a few days now and am liking it pretty much.  At first I couldn't get email or web to work at all even though I had the right setup.  The guys at the Verizon store were also mystified.  Then someone came along and suggested I try turning it off and then on again (which I hadn't done since acquiring the right setup).  This solved the problem.  I like the way this phone looks and feels during calls.  The software is primitive compared with a real smart phone but it's functional enough for me. I like the touch screen a lot and the virtual qwerty keyboard is excellent.  The phone reception at my house is better (2-3 bars) than it was for my Alias (1-2 bars).  The music sounds good with some headphones but isn't loud enough with others.  Overall, I like this much better than the Alias or PN-820 (which lacks a qwerty keyboard).  I still may switch to the Blackberry flip though when it comes to Verizon.

I would agree with most of that.
I my favorite phone/pda phone OS without a doubt is Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional, but this will do.
I just bought skullcandy in ear sound isolating earbuds and they sound pretty good.
I haven't stopped listening to music on it since I woke up this morning.
Lovin it so far;
VZW just NEEDS TO COME OUT WITH A SOFTWARE UPDATE!!!

I was inclined to get a Blackberry Pearl before seeing this phone in person.  The bad thing about pairing a Blackberry with Verizon is that they charge you 30 dollars extra on top of your plan for data without an option to get rid of it; whereas, the Krave is premium plan capable.

Currently, I have a 30 day trial of VCast, and Mobile TV... which the Mobile TV is absolutely specatacular, but I do not care to surf the internet on the phone so I will be dropping the data plan and sticking with the Mobile TV.  Neither can be done with Blackberry.

Welcome to the forums tho! Cheesy
