Every now and then it gets a glitch, and when it happens every touch is registered at the wrong spot (typically registers the function directly below the one I'm touching). When it gets to doing this, the only way to cure it is to remove the battery. Turning the phone off and on does not fix it.

It is becoming more and more frequent. There was about 2 weeks between the occurences previously. It has now happened to me 3 times this week.

I've had that same issue, I found that it would happen when i would use the touch through the cover then open the flip, for some reason it would re-align the touch sensors. I would fix it be shutting off what ever app i was in then restarting it with the flip open.

Let me know if you still have trouble.

I don't use the touch thru flip function- I keep that locked because I had too many issues with VZNav or Vcast TV getting activated by accident

I'm having the same issue and it's really annoying with the QWERTY keyboard and when trying to select options.  Like the previous poster I generally don't use the functions with the lid closed and it's locked most of the time.

I hope this gets sorted out with the next update (whenever that is).

I've wanted to throw my phone into the lake a few times because I have gotten so frustrated by trying to get the right letter into my text messages. It is quite annyoing.
