I'm glad to see that there aren't that many posts on here anymore.  Hopefully, like me, people have been pissed off that they got burned by Motorola and Verizon and left both companies never to go back.  I switched to Sprint for the Palm Pre and my service, cost of plan, and quality of phone have never been better.  Good riddance Moto and Verizon.

I agree MikeVillain, I hope people get rid of the Krave. This forum was great for questions that I had, so thank you all. I will be keeping Verizon, how ever i will not be keeping my Krave. As soon as I can upgrade the Krave will be the next paper weight on my desk, next to all the rocks i've picked up from the beach. So Good bye Motorola krave and good bye to this awesome forum ( I hate to see you all go, but maybe you will follow everyone and upgrade your phones). I will be switching to a Motorola Droid. If you don't know much about it, I'll give a brief overview:

It runs Adroid software enhanced by google and it also runs Java (unlike the Krappy Krave).

It also has free apps. Check it out.

Google Motorola Droid, nice phone.

Problem with the Droid is it is still made by Motorola.  When it is time to upgrade for me, so long Motorola!

My current focus for my next phone is the Android based Nexus One (when it becomes available for Verizon).  Although I find myself wistfully wishing it had the Krave flip as an option.

Even with all of the software faults, I still like my Krave. The Krave hardware is truly unique.  However, I feel that Motorola has let Krave owners down by not continuing to update the software for the Krave.

I agree with you wmabele.  I  did not get the Motorola Droid specifically because I didn't want to get another Motorola after the Krave.  See my post in this forum of a wish list of software upgrades that never happened for the Krave. As a software engineer, I know that most of what I was asking for was not that hard to do for the Krave and would have made a big difference in usability.  But the long term commitment and software support just wasn't there.

The Nexus One hasn't panned out for Verizon, so a couple of days ago I got a HTC Droid Incredible and I am loving it.  I thought I would really miss my Krave flip, but I have all but forgotten about it.  The Droid Incredible is really incredible.  I am having a hard time coming up with a wish list for this phone.  And this time, If I do come up with wish list of improvements, I can work on it myself on Android.  If no one else does it first, of course.

This is the worst phone I have ever had.   I have called Verizon and begged them for anything else.  I asked for a downgrade.  Anything... but this phone.  I have a very hard time with the touch screen.  This was the case almost immediately.  I thought at first it was just user error-that I needed to get used to the phone.  Boy, was that a mistake because the 30 days that I was getting used to it, used up my Verizon grace period to get another phone.  I would say that 25% of the time that I try to dial a number, the wrong number comes up.  (I am a petite girl with slender fingers).  I would say that 50% of the time that I try to text, the wrong letter comes up.  I recently had a miscarriage and tried to call my doctor and emergency dispatch for help.  I found out very quickly that in the midst of an emergency, I left myself vulnerable.  I had to dial my doctor's number 4 times before I got it correct.  After this happened, I phone Verizon twice and begged for another phone.  I even asked if they had a used phone that I could have.  Nope.  Nothing.  They offered to send me another crappy motorola krave.  So this Christmas, I get to spend my hard earned money buying another phone.  It'll be worth it though.  Anything is better than this horrible, horrible phone.
